  • Work experience at the daycare

Every Wednesday morning at Kayla’s school the Special Education Assistants hold a meeting. For Kayla this means that she is not allowed to attend Block A, which is Family Studies. Teresa wrote to the school in protest but nothing was changed. They were forced to think of alternative arrangements.

Since Kayla wants to be a teacher, the work experience facilitator in Kayla’s school district arranged for Kayla to work at a daycare during that Wednesday shift.

Kayla loves working with kids and she’s good at it. Her experience at the daycare will go into her resume and help her reach her goal of working with kids.

The work experience has extended into the summer, with Kayla working there three full days per week.

What a great video, Kayla! You are excellent with children and I think that you have natural teaching abilities. Good luck with this job!
